Its the Rosuvastatins to the rescue!

2026-07-28

Just last month, after at least 6 years of avoiding medication by convincing my different doctors that I am in the middle of working of lifestyle changes to bring my cholesterol down, I’ve decided to admit to myself that the charades is up.

I am not going to make meaningful progress bringing my cholesterol down. No amount of exercise and diet is going to significantly reduce it. Especially since my cholesterol is likely genetic with my parent and grandparent having them.

So, I eventually got myself checked out with the Healthier SG program, and got a blood test done, with the results, I got myself started with Rosuvastatin.

Today’s day 4 of being on the meds and thankfully, there hasn’t been any significant side effects other than some muscle soreness which kinda already went away.

Here’s to better health. Hopefully my lifestyle change and the medications would be able to reverse whatever damage caused by the 6 years delay.

It’s also day 1 of #100daystooffload

I’m currently working on fyra.sh, a CLI-first static site deployment tool where you push your site and it’s served globally through a built-in CDN, without the overhead of heavy platforms.
