Freedom at Work

Fastcompany recently posted a short article with an eye-catching title, “Bosses, Stop Caring If Your Employees Are At Their Desks” that resonated with me.

The article cites a study recently done by the University of Minnesota which shows that employees who get to decide the time they work (“Results-Oriented Work Environment”) showed higher productivity, are more invested in the company and are generally happier.

And that is also precisely why I decided that corporate life in Singapore is not for me and to instead do freelancing full-time.
