Uncle Ee-Ping

Uncle Ee-Ping, or Ee-Ping Shu (Mandarin) as he is more commonly known is a Party veteran. To most people, he is remembered as the elderly speaker who speaks in crisp dialect and sings teochew songs during the rallies. To me, he is the friendly, energetic Ee-Ping Shu who never fails to volunteer his time and energy to any Party-related activities like the selling of our newsletter, ‘The Hammer’ or campaign house-visits.

Ee-Ping Shu is currently __ years old. He is usually introduced as a member who had been following David Marshall (Ex-Chief Minister of Singapore and Founder of the Workers’ Party) when the Party was first established but who is he really?
